To start thing off, the term 'virtual' has been defined in philosophy as "that which is not real" but may display the salient qualities of the real. Colloquially, 'virtual' is used to mean almost, particularly when used in the adverbial form e.g. "That's virtually[almost] impossible".
As technology grows, more and more games have been developed by programmers e,g. Second Life, Ragnarok Online, Angels Online, et cetera ... I know that the first thing in your mind is that only teenagers play these kind of games and the same thing with me but I've just seen an episode in Discovery Science in which they discussed about this virtual thing. Well, I found out that not only kids play games but adults play too. Given the example of the picture above, most adults and of course kids play the game too.
But enough of that, I'd like to ask you a question. Are we living in a virtual world? Because it seems that money is also a virtual thing. Why? Because money isn't real. Yes, you can hold it, you can touch it but it ain't real. Here's an excerpt from an article in the New York Times:
How does he get in our way?
By using Temptation
~> According to wikipedia, temptation is an act that looks appealing to an individual. It is usually used to describe acts with negative connotations and as such, tends to lead a person to regret such actions, for various reasons: legal, social, psychological (including feeling guilt), health, economic, etc. Temptation also describes the coaxing or inducing a person into committing such an act, by manipulation or otherwise of curiosity, desire or fear of loss.
Satan uses the world in order to tempt us into doing his bad deeds and making us sin. One great example is money. Money isn't real and also there's a famous quote and I'm sure that we all know it.
1. Pray
Doing these everyday will keep you away from the temptations of this world...

A nation cannot make debts sustainable by cutting costs. Cuts may produce marginal savings, but savings are not cash flow. This is another example of the alchemist’s temptation...Civilizations which become obsessed by sustaining unsustainable debt-loads have forgotten the basic nature of money. Money is not real. It is a conscious agreement on measuring abstract value. Unhealthy societies often become mesmerized by money and treat it as if it were something concrete. The effect is to destroy the currency’s practical value. So to speak, we really are living in a virtual world. A world wherein Satan controls everything. Satan uses the world in bringing us down. He wants wants us to sin. The bible says:
1 John 4:4 (New International Version, ©2011)
4 You, dear children, are from God and have overcome them, because the one who is in you is greater than the one who is in the world.
Receiving Jesus Christ into your life means that you have the right to become a child of God, become saved and having your salvation and getting into the land in which God has promised Abraham. But all these we can't achieve if the one in the world is getting in our way.
John 1:11-13 (New International Version, ©2011)
11 He came to that which was his own, but his own did not receive him. 12 Yet to all who did receive him, to those who believed in his name, he gave the right to become children of God— 13 children born not of natural descent, nor of human decision or a husband’s will, but born of God.

Money is the root of all evil.Lack of money could lead to robbing. Now how do we resist these kind of temptations?
1. Pray
Prayer is our gateway, our 24/7 unlimited phone line to God. Praying eagerly each and everyday would help you resist the attacks of the enemy. Sometimes, we only pray when we are in times of trouble. Right? But that is not the answer, keeping a constant prayer life means that your relationship with God is on a steady course. Pray everyday with sincerity.2. Worship
We don't only worship God when we ask for something. We worship God to give Him thanks for all the things that He has given us. We don't only worship Him in the church but we can worship Him outside the church. When we worship, we are bringing Him glory.3. Read
Reading the Bible would greatly increase your faith and generally help you in understanding the word of God. The word of God is the most powerful weapon in the world to fight Satan and his temptations.
Doing these everyday will keep you away from the temptations of this world...
